Mary Nicholson won 1st Prize in the Viewer's Choice competition with her magnificent oriental interpretation of my Appliqué Sampler.  Have a closer look and note - it's her first quilt!  Her prize of Vic Quilters membership is your gain, as you will be able to view Mary's quilt at the Melbourne Craft & Quilt Show at the end of July at the Exhibition Buildings.

Liz Weller is the very deserving 2nd place winner in the Viewer's Choice competition with her beautiful Appliqué Sampler, based on a gorgeous Hoffman floral sashing.  Liz's embroidery skills certainly added a special touch to this lovely quilt.

Barb Smith's magnificent hand quilting on her Appliqué sampler would have certainly ensured her 3rd place prize in the Viewer's Choice competition, as well as her stunning use of embroidery purse on the borders.

Judy Challenger hand pieced this wonderful blue quilt of Baby Blocks for her daughter Claire.
