This lovely cushion was made by Adrienne Butler, and is an adaptation of a block from Chandler’s Cottage Oriental Baltimore. Keeping it company was a beautiful Japanese Lunch bag made by Ruth Edwards in hot pink silk, black velvet and beaded braid.

Rikki Main’s Japanese Spring was well admired for its kimono shape, clever use of colourwash fabric and beautiful cherry blossoms.

Kerry Eustice’s tree skirt looked wonderful under Colleen’s topiary Christmas tree.

Adrienne Butler made this wonderful Pintuck Christmas.
This wonderful quilt by Di Mansfield and her embroidery group in Queensland won our Viewer’s Choice prize. The photo does not do it justice, as you can’t see the intricate embroidery and hand quilting that won our viewer’s hearts!

This lovely row by row quilt belongs to Marilyn Wilson, and was a round robin project with her sewing friends.

“Fenwick” is a beautiful strippy quilt designs and made by Meredithe Clarke.
Hitomi from QH Textiles made this clever wall hanging with a folded kimono, and the pattern will be available from Chandler’s Cottage from Feb. 2008!
We were so, so lucky to have Mariya Waters' Renaissance Revival quilt at our show, but even more so for having her there as well! Here you can see Mary sneaking a few pointers of Mariya while on white glove duty. You can pick up a few prize winning tips from Mariya as well, at our late Spring Workshop weekend in 2008!
Here is a photo of Mariya’s quilt. An absolute masterpiece. Not at all surprising she picked up the Founders Award at Houston this year, after winning best of show at Sydney.
Cath Clarke of Tasselart fame made this warm and cosy kitty quilt, which made a wonderful back drop for the Tasselart stand at the show.
This was my (Leesa's) contribution to the show! This is my new Summer Palace quilt, which uses latticework designs from the Emperor’s Summer Palace in Beijing. It’s perfect for the Oriental fabric stash you don’t know what to do with, but you just know you don’t want to cut it up into little pieces!
Helen Wadsley never disappoints at the Tassie show, with her huge, hand pieced and quilted quilts. Helen kindly sent over her Civil War Star quilt this year which looked fantastic amongst our country style Christmas quilts .
