This new design is just perfect for those who have a stash of oriental prints, and just don’t want to cut them up into little pieces! I found the foundation of this design in Beijing at the Emperor’s Summer Palace. All of the wooden shutters on the windows had a wonderful design, that flashed up in this quilter’s eye as sashing!
The quilt is 98” long by 74” wide, and takes 21 or more fat quarters.

Art Deco Tulips

This dramatic wall hanging size quilt (105cm x 115cm) combines leadlight window style applique with a unique method of "foundation" applique, where the blocks are progressively built up to create the pattern. I chose bright reds and black, which are available as a kit, however if you have another colour theme in mind, I'll be more than happy to custom make a kit for you. Check out the Batiks and Fusions in the fabric shop for colour inspiration!

I designed this wall hanging for the Australasian Quilt Convention workshops earlier this year, and I’m happy to now release it as a pattern for you to make at home! The wall hanging features Japanese Clematis and Irises, Wisteria, Cherry Blossoms and Star Flowers, all made with quick and easy three dimensional techniques. These techniques are great tools to have in your sewing room, and you will find many more applications for them beyond this project.

	Oriental Baltimore This quilt is 51” square and consists of 9 Octagonal Blocks. The entire quilt is made with rich, high quality hand painted Hoffman Batiks, and Michael Miller Fairy Frost. Each block features one colour of Fairy Frost to add light and lustre, and a 3D feature to give the quilt interest and dimension. The quilt top is sashed with Champagne Fairy Frost, and I have taken the binding all to the back, to add to the design’s unique look. 	Australian Floral Sampler This unique design features Australian flora in three dimensional form. I first taught this as a workshop at the Australasian Quilt Convention, and the pattern is a great reference for 3D techniques which you can apply to other projects. 	The Origami Table Runner Kit This version of the table runner features a wonderful rich rose print on a black background and outlined in gold. Looks super at Christmas as well as all year round. Kit (including Origami Patchwork Book) $60		Order

	Japanese Collection This quilt is a collection of my favourite aspects of Japanese design, commonly used in Japanese textiles. The Geisha has a three dimensional gown flap, as well as a trapunto face and hands using organza. There are many 3D features, including cherry blossoms and wisteria flowers. Paper pieced lattice, reverse applique and strip sewn lanterns and 3D a dragonfly are also featured. The quilt measures 147cm by 100cm. The pattern is presented in a bound, clear covered book with a full colour photo on the cover. Kits custom made upon request. Pattern: $25		Order
